You can:
- Borrow books, films, music or audio books in a variety of languages – or stream them from your home PC, tablet or smart phone!
- We have materials for you and your children
- Read current newspapers and magazines – also available online.
- Access the internet on your PC, smartphone or tablet.
- Participate in the languages cafés or other events.
- Study or relax with friends over a cup of coffee.

The only thing you need in order to use the facilities and resources is a library membership. It is free, just contact the library staff and bring your social security card. Once you are a member your can use your card to gain access to the library, the books and the online resources.
Improve your Danish
For example you can borrow language course materials at the library. There are courses with matching computer programmes and courses with listening exercises, or books on Danish traditions and customs.
Books in your native language
Do not hesitate to ask a librarian for help if you cannot find what you are looking for. You can also search and order materials both in the library's own database and on the nationwide database here. The material will be send to the library you choose in Vesthimmerland where you can pick it up.
The World Library or Verdensbiblioteket is a digital library. You can stream movies and listen to music in more than 10 languages.
Opening hours
The opening hours are wide. After the librarians go home, you can still use all of the facilities. Off course we ask that you use it with care. It is not allowed to let others in the library using your personal Health Insurance Card. The consequense of breaking the regulations is exclusion from the library.
